Studio J

Studio J is e name of children ministry I am serving in Wesley International Congregation.

I enjoyed the initial months of being a "new" christian. I could step into a church knowing that I would be served. haha^^!! It feels good to be a newcomer seriously!! so carefree haha. It was a good resting period. ^^

After a few months, I wanna serve God again. Once, i helped in usher minstry and I realised that I wanna say something else than 'hi welcome. This way pls'. Once, my cgl told me to lead the bible study which is a stressful thing for me.. but i really wanna do something! so finally responded to children ministry's call for helpers.

It turned out that e ps wanna kinda revamp the program of the children ministry. me and other 3 adults are so excited to be given this task. we gonna meet up on fri to discuss and delegate duties. I volunteered to do the admin work. haha. cuz i think it's easier than to be in charge of other things such as the program >< color="#009900">i have growing vision and passion for this ministry!! :)

EXAMS & UNI

last week was chem, eng and computer.
today was math. thurs will be bio.

so far so good. had been studying so hard. it gave me de javu, as if I am back in Olevel period. haha. but I love studying actually. so nerdy ^^ haha!!

Nah.. I am given a chance to redirect my life. so wanna seize it. I have been considering many uni courses for nxt yr. I narrow them down to:

+ Bachelor of health Science and Master in Rehabilitation Counselling (4yrs)
+ Science/Law (5yrs)
+ Science/Commerce (4yrs)

I am very keen in taking combined degrees. I have desire to work in governmnt sector so i thought law might be a relevant degree to take.. Recently, I have been talking to my mom about our family business in indo. My mom is working on this big project to enlarge e business to Nusa Tenggara (NTT). it's the very east side of indo that is developing. So I feel that I need to know about commerce so that I can help in the years to come.

Do leave comments. every advice is highly appreciated!! :))

Last week was a rather rough week. I felt totally homesick! I missed the friends in sg and also the things I used to do, from church to cg to usher, everything! There was one day when I think I almost went crazy. As I walked along the road, I was like scrutinising every face in hope I found some familiar face. Well, how impossible will tt be to meet my sg friend in aus at this time. Sad. But I know tt this is just one of the process I have to go through to adjust life here. The reality tt I am in aus away from previous lifestyle began to sink in and I began to accept it. So this week being the third week, I start to embrace a new day, knowing that I have to learn to adjust. Thankfully, I have friends here whom I can connect. One gal is Wendy 19 from HK and the other gal is Binny 22 from Korea. We often have laugh tgt. They are fun and caring :) Wendy will be gg to church with me tis sun. Tis somehow brings comfort to my soul tt I am still Olivia. The future is unfolding. My greatest desire now is to study hard and be the top student to receive a scholarship of $5000. The lessons are tough and more in depth than I used to learn. I will give my best effort.
